Does Achieving Your Goals Make You Happy.....Or Not?

"What you get by achieving your goals is not as important
as who you become by achieving your goals."
                                                            - Zig Ziglar

Do you feel happy after you have reached your goals?

What kind of goals are you choosing to pursue?

Studies show that pursuing wealth, power, popularity, fame or validation (extrinsic goals) only leads to fleeting happiness..... if you succeed.
Unfortunately when you pursue these kind of goals you are always going to want more and more and more and you will never end up feeling happy or filled up.
This is exactly why so many "rich" or "famous" people look and are miserable.

Instead choose goals that will create connection with others. Goals that will make you grow, learn and expand. Doing things that feels authentic to you.
Goals that represent who you truly are deep inside..... are the kind of goals that will make you feel and experience lasting happiness.
Actually you will feel it on the journey to reaching your goal too.

It is not reaching your goals that will make you happy. It is the person you become in the process of reaching your dream.
