You Have To Do The Work

"It is time to stop looking outside yourself for the answers to why you haven't created the life and results you want, for it is you who created the quality of the life you lead and the results you produce.
You - no one else!
To achieve major success in life  - to achieve those things that are most important to you - you must assume 100% responsibility for your life. Nothing less will do".
                                                                         - Jack Canfield from The Success Principles

Are you happy with the life you are living right now? If the answer is NO .....Are you planning on changing it? Why NOT?

So often we want our lives to be different than what they are today....but most of the time we are not willing to do the work that is required in order to make changes.

Maybe we have had the same habits for 10, 20 maybe even 30 years and our bad habits feel so familiar to us. Even if we don't like them, we know what to expect.

Changing your habits will make you feel uncomfortable for a while. But if you are willing to get out of your comfort zone and feel the uncomfortable feelings for about 21-30 days, it will get much easier. You will gain momentum and you will look back and say "WOW... I feel so much better now....I am so glad I stuck with it".
Learn to deal with the uncomfortable feelings without acting on them.

Change is hard. It requires a lot of work and consistent action day after day. A price most of us are not willing to pay. Instead we just settle where we are and we continue to complain about how we dislike our lives......Does this sound familiar?

You can "crystalize your vision".....create the "perfect game plan " but if you fail to take action, it doesn't matter how much you want it!! You have to be willing to actually get off the couch and get started.
Nothing happens until you move.

You are 100% responsible for where you are in life right now and you are 100% responsible for changing it. No one is going to do the work for you. If you are waiting for other people to do it for you....you will be waiting a long time! This is not a dress-rehearsal....get started living a better life TODAY

"Do you want to be a pioneer of the future...or a prisoner of the past"?      - Deepak Chopra

So I suggest that you get off the couch.....get out of your comfort zone.....try something new...and like Nike says....Just Do It!

How to use Affirmations

An affirmation is a personal statement of your dreams and goals as if they have already happened.

The idea behind this is so that the subconscious mind begins to believe the affirmation and it helps you to build the motivation and confidence to take the required action to obtain it and make it your reality.

Here are a few excellent affirmations!

1. I am successful in everything I do

2. My life is filled with abundance

3. Every cell in my body vibrates with positive energy

4. I am worthy of love

5. I easily manifest my dreams

6. I am calm and relaxed in every situation

7. Money flows freely and abundantly into my life

8. My potential is limitless

9. My heart is a magnet that attracts more of everything I desire

10. I radiate love and happiness every single day.

Write and say affirmations aloud several time per day.

Many people write their affirmations and post them is places, such as the bathroom mirror, refrigerator, computer or dashboard of you car.

Dare to Try

"Take the survival tale of Swedish adventurer Goran Kropp. In October 1995, he left Stockholm, Sweden, on a bicycle and rode it to the base of Mount Everest, arriving in April 1996.

He climbed Everest, reaching the summit with no oxygen mask and no help from Sherpas.
He descended the mountain and eventually pedaled back to Sweden.

If someone invited you to undertake such a wild adventure, you might say: "That's impossible!" "You're crazy!"

As it turns out, it's not impossible. It's hard - really hard - but doable under the right circumstances. The cliché is true: Where there is a will there is a way.

Seemingly unsurmountable challenges confronting your business, sports, health and fitness, and relationships are far more manageable than you might imagine."      - Joe De Sena from Spartan Up!

What are you telling yourself is impossible?

Losing 25 pounds , starting your own business, moving and starting over in a new city, leaving a dead-end marriage, getting healthy and in shape?

My bet is that it is a lot easier than doing what Goran Kropp did!!!

What would your life look like if you decided to get out of your comfort zone, feel uncomfortable for a while and embrace a new challenge?

What would your life look like in 1-5 years?

Do you dare to try?

How to Create Daily Habits that Will Make You Succeed

Are you trying to create some new and healthier habits in your life?

Habits that will stick and that you will be able to continue doing on a daily base for a long time or maybe the rest of your life.

Here are a few tips on how to do this!

1. Small habits are easier to keep going. Start one daily success habit today. When you feel that it has become part of your routine....then add one more new habit.

"Little by little....a little becomes a lot."

2. You get the best results by developing one habit at a time.

3. By sticking to a habit....for a minimum of 30 days you'll find it easier to build a whole new routine.

4. When something becomes a habit, it is easier to stay on track , and don't cave into temptation.

When you follow a new habit every single day it takes only minimal willpower to overcome temptation.
And if this behavior becomes automatic, it takes no willpower at all.

What if you wanted to take a small baby step, in this coming week...... What is a small baby step that you could take and get you going in the right direction?

It has to be something that you can measure.

What is an action step that you can take in the coming week, something that can be measured, something that you can hold yourself accountable to.

How could you measure that Action Step?

What can you Commit to?

To truly feel better, you must be committed to moving forward - you must make the first move, take the first step, and do what is required, no matter how difficult.

Thoughts Become Things

"All that we are is a result of what we have thought."  - Buddha

Today I would like to share a process with you that came from the great teacher. Neville Goddard in a lecture he delivered in 1954, entitled "The pruning Shears of Revision." This process has had a profound effect on my own life.

Neville recommends at the end of every day, before you go to sleep, to think through the events of the day.

If any events or moments did not go the way you wanted, replay them in your mind in a way that thrills you.

As you recreate those events in your mind exactly as you want, you are cleaning up your frequency from the day and you are emitting a new signal and frequency for tomorrow.

You have intentionally created new pictures for your future.

It is never too late to change the pictures.

How to Set New Goals and Create Lasting Change

Right now is a natural time of year to focus on your goals, your progress and what you want to create in your life this coming year.

What is your Vision for your life in 2015? Have you created some goals?

"People with goals succeed because they know where they are going."

Define some clear and specific goals - Put all goals in writing and read them out loud to yourself, twice a day.

- Daily Goals
- Weekly Goals
- Monthly Goals
- 1-Year Goal

Creating a new life or taking your life to the next level is hard work. There is no such thing as "Something for Nothing". We have to put in the hours in making the change. Creating new healthy, empowering habits and letting go of some old outdated ones that will no longer fit our new vision for our new life.
It is about commitment, perseverance, consistency, and about dedicating your life to creating a new life style, rather than setting some petty goal because you kinda want to.

Every worthy goal requires consistent action.

PERSEVERE
Persist no matter what
Endure discomfort
Request help
Steadfastly hold on to your beliefs and values
Envision triumph
Very consistently keep at it
Embrace adversity
Refuse to give up
Enjoy and celebrate every bit of progress

1. Make a true decision

2. Commit to it.......No matter what.

3. Take Action..... Nothing happens until you act on it!

How do I love Myself?

We all hear of the importance of loving ourselves but what does it really mean to love yourself?

Everything in your life start with loving yourself. Most of us don't think about self-love and don't know what it means to love ourselves.

1. Acceptance - Loving yourself for exactly who you are - right now. Don't compare yourself to other people. You love who you are.

2. Awareness - Get to know who you are and who you are not. Always be completely honest even if it's difficult.

3.Compassion - Be gentle and kind to yourself. Watch your self-talk! Be able to let go of self-criticism. Get enough sleep, exercise, stop overworking and get rid of toxic relationships.

4. Forgiveness - Forgive yourself for the things you did in the past. You didn't know back then what you know today.
"When you know better, you do better" - Maya Angelo

5. Self -Esteem - Believe that you can do anything. You believe in yourself even if nobody else does.

6. Self -Empowerment - Dream your dream and go for it!! Be the star in your own movie! Don't hold back. Even if it seems crazy and people in your life won't support you. You are not going to do less than your heart and soul desires.

7. Self -Respect - Only have respectful relationships and situations in your life. And things that don't align with that.....let them go!!!!

8. Trust your Intuition - Listen to your inner wisdom...no matter what!

9. Have more Fun -  Learn to laugh at yourself! Spend time with people that make you laugh. Spend time doing what you love, start a new hobby, create new friendships/relationships.

10. Be who you are - You are out there in the world, expressing who you are. Don't hold back.

11. Self - Worth - Value yourself based on who you are on the inside. Not what is going on on the outside. I am enough.

                                                      Today I promise Myself

I will only have relationships that are supporting my vision and my dream. I won't allow anyone else to plan my life for me or to tell me how to live my dream.

I will create a Soul-Family. People that have earned my trust and the right to hear my story.

I will not settle for breadcrumbs. I will Say "No thank you" but I want the whole cake. I won't lower my standards.

If you choose to love yourself than you never have to look for it elsewhere. You don't have to stay in toxic relationships, bad jobs, sacrifice your dreams or living another person's dream or life.
