Why a Small Improvement Performed Every Day Will Produce Success

Sometimes our work feels small and insignificant, but remember
a small ripple can gain momentum and build a current that is insurmountable.

Constantly improving different areas in your life such as .....your relationships, your finances, your health and fitness will make you feel happy and fulfilled

A lot of times we will feel frustrated when we don´t grow and learn new things.
When we don´t get challenged in our lives.

Growth comes from improvement. Constant never ending improvement.

We can grow in any area of our life by doing a little more every day. The next day a little more.
It doesn´t have to be huge things. Small thing will be just fine but just make sure you do just a little more each and every day.

Little by little a little becomes a lot.

Raise your standards. What you accept from yourself and also from others.

Make sure that you are consistent.

Build momentum.

Today make a commitment to yourself to never ending improvement.

A commitment of a small improvement every day will produce a massive success.

I know that most people hate repetition. But if you are going to master anything in your life you must be willing to do the boring thing every single day and also find a way to improve on it.
(Compounding effect)

Are you going to raise your standards?

What are you willing to start doing today on a daily base that will improve your life?

How can you improve on it once you get started?

Success doesn´t happen by accident. It will take consistent practice. And since you have committed yourself to certain activities on a daily base, it will help you in reach your goals.

We are only going to feel good about ourselves, long-term if we constantly increase the quality of our lives.

Are You Making Other People Responsible for Your Happiness?

"I will take care of me for you,
if you will take care of you for me."
                                                              - Jim Rohn

When we judge ourselves, we also have a tendency to judge others as well.

In your relationships....are you judging and being hard on your partner?

When learning to love and value yourself there will be no need to judge yourself and others.

It starts with you.

The more you learn to love yourself and take great care of yourself and your own needs and not abandon yourself....the less you will feel needy, causing you to pull on your partner for the love that you are not giving yourself.

This is why it is so important to learn to love ourselves before we can love someone else.

We can´t give away what we don´t have. If you don´t have love for yourself  you will expect your partner to give it to you. At this point you will probably become needy and expect your partner to provide you with the love that you are not giving yourself.

If you don´t have a partner you might become needy of love and easily attach to someone else to try to get love from them.

We can´t expect others to give us something that we have to learn to give to ourselves.

Most people don´t want the responsibility for making you feel good about yourself.

The more you pull on people for love, the more they will pull away from you.

Learn to love and take care of yourself.

How NOT to Lose Yourself in the Process of Pursuing Your Dream

As I follow my heart I am guided to right path
that leads me to my dreams and desires.
I am entering a new phase of heightened enlightment
and I know that my life is unfolding in miraculous ways.

Are you fixated on your goal but you are missing out on the journey?
If the answer is YES......you might have missed out on the most important part of the ride.

A lot of us get so goal oriented that we forget to live and enjoy life while we are pursuing our dream.

How to get to our goal is as important as the goal itself.

Here are a few tips!

Be kind and gentle with yourself
You are probably doing a lot better than you realize. Never beat yourself up if the results are not showing up fast enough. Most of us want things to happen yesterday but that isn´t how things work. Time to work on that patience - muscle.
Sometimes a setback is a setup for something much better. For greater success down the road.
Try to relax and to enjoy the journey.
Give yourself credit for small wins and small successes. They are as important than the big ones.
Relax!

Combine work with play
We all need some time away from work and our goals. Spend some time in nature, or with friends and family. Start a new hobby.
Most of the times we get the best great ideas when our minds are clear and relaxed. A relaxed mind is filled with creativity and great new ideas.
Make sure you schedule some play time into your busy schedule and when you return to work and your goals you will be more efficient and ready to go.
Play and have fun!

Ask for what you want
If you don´t ask for what you want then you will probably not get it. Asking for what we want is very important. You must always state clearly where you want to go......otherwise how will you ever get there....if you don´t know what you want or where you want to go?
Be precise!

Be flexible
Make sure that you are flexible when it comes to the result of your goal. It might come in the different direction than you are thinking and expecting it to. In other words ....it might come in through a different door than you expected. Always pay attention to the doors behind you!
Allow miracles to happen!

Nurture your soul
Make sure that you feed your soul on a daily base. Do things that will nurture your spirit.
We feed our bodies on a daily base to gain strength but we must also give our souls plenty of soul food to keep us going and to keep us inspired and motivated.
Maybe it is meditation, prayer, journaling, reading or a walk in nature.
Make sure you give yourself plenty of soul food
When your soul is nourished you will have more energy for what is important and you will attract other people and events into your life.
Feed your soul!

I hope these tips will help!
Make sure that you will never give up on your dream.....no matter how long it will take you to accomplish it.
Little by little a little become a lot.
Have fun and relax on your pursuit of your dream.

Do You Have Enough Reason To Make a Change?

                                                        "People change for two reasons....
Either they learn enough that they want to change.
Or they have been hurt enough that they have to."

Change is mostly about motivation.

You have to be willing to make a commitment to change and then make it happen.

How to change is easy.

We all know how to lose weight. We all know how to start exercising. We all know how to quit smoking, drinking, gambling, texting or shopping to much.

Sometimes what we don´t have is the WHY.

Why we should do something.
Why should we stop or start something?

Why is more important than the how.

Find enough compelling reasons why you must change now.
It will make it a lot easier to make the change.

TIP!
Make a list TODAY of enough reason why you must change something.
The more reason the better.
It might take a little time to do this and maybe a little soul-searching on your part.

The how will be easy to figure out.

Are You Having a Hard Time Trusting Others?

"Everyone suffers at least one bad betrayal in their lifetime.
                                                     It´s what unites us.
The trick is not to let it destroy your trust in others when that happens.
Don´t let them take that from you."
                                                      - Sherrilyn Kenyon

Are you having a hard time trusting other people?

I know a lot of us have been betrayed and disappointed by people in our lives.
And it is especially hurtful if the person is very close to us.

Only through trusting yourself will you be able to trust someone else.

Life is about taking a step back, examine the situation, breath and then tell yourself...
If this doesn´t work out, I will be OK.
I will be able to figure it out and no matter what happens, I will be fine.

Life is also about being selective while choosing people that are the closest to you.
Your inner circle.
And also the people that you do business with.

Make sure you are choosing people who are good for you..... and then you must trust your own judgment.
Learn to listen to you intuitive voice.

Don´t turn away from what is painful.
Examine it!
Challenge it!
Try to understand what it is here to teach you.

Don´t let other people sway you in your defining moments.
Sticking to your character requires a lot of courage.

Is Your Life at a Standstill?

"I am not afraid of storms
for I have learned to sail my ship."
                                                          - Louise May Alcott

Life is like a ship, in a lot of ways.

A ship is not built to stay in the harbor (safety).

It is built to sail and it is also built to handle the storms (adventure).

A ship is equipped for adventure and not to stay still too long.

And so are we.

We are not suppose to stay in the same place our whole entire life.
We are suppose to learn new things and to grow as individuals.
And we are also equipped to handle the storms in our lives.

There are always going to be storms in our lives.
Some storms will be smaller and some will be like giant hurricane and sometimes like tornados.
But we can handle all the storms.
They won´t break us and they won´t kill us.

If you are feeling like you are at a standstill in life...... maybe it is time to look to see if you have spent too much time lately in the safety of the harbor?

Maybe you haven´t sailed your ship in a very long time?

Time to change that. Time to start sailing again.
Get out from the safety in the harbor. Get rid of the anchor that prevents you from sailing and taking action in your own life. Toss the ropes and get going.
Set your own sail and get out there and get some adventure in life.

Remember we only live once.

Decide that today it is time to set a brand new sail.
Just make sure it is your own sail that you are setting.
The one that will take you in the direction that you want to go or sail in life.

You decide where you want to go by setting the right sail for you.

Happy Sailing Everyone!!!

Are You Living Someone Else´s Life?

                                                       "Your time is limited,
so don´t waste it living someone else´s life."
                                                              - Steve Jobs

Unfortunately too often we will talk ourselves out of what we really want.

Why do we do this?

A lot of times it can be old beliefs and old feelings associated with our dream.
They will pop up in our mind and mess with us and with our self-esteem.
Things like past failures and doubts that we will ever be able to accomplish what we really want.

Can you remember how many times in your life that you have abandoned something that was important to you because of feelings like......

It is way too hard
There is not enough support
Not enough time or money to make my dream happen
People won´t like me if I pursue my dream
I am afraid to be too visible and to show the world who I am
I am too old...or too young
I don´t know the right people
I can´t learn the skills I need to have to pursue my dream

How many excuses have you heard yourself use in your lifetime?
How many times have you abandon your new ideas?
How many dreams have fallen by the wayside?

Now this is not about judging yourself and your past.
This is about starting fresh, no matter what has gone on before.
It is about trying something new.
It is about letting go of your old beliefs and not to allow them to interfere or stop you.

The first thing you need to do is.......
To visualize your desired outcome.
What do you really...really ..really want?
Can you actually see what it is that you want for yourself and your life?

To be able to do this process you most likely need to spend some time alone.
Listen to your inner voice or dialogue.
Not the one that tells you to get busy and the one that keeps pushing you to look "out there".

Have some alone time and focus on your dream.
Spending time alone will start the process of discovering or re-discovering your dream.

Make sure you carve out some quit-time for yourself every day. Even if it´s only 5 minutes.
Increase little by little.

You don´t need to fill your life and your precious time with people or activities that undermine or sabotage your dream.

Just remind yourself that you deserve to live your dream.
You deserve to feel whole and empowered.
You are enough.

How to Stay Motivated When You Want to Quit

"If you are tired of starting over,
                                                                   stop giving up."

Sometimes our goals seem out of reach.
We lose our momentum and our motivation especially if we have been working on a project for a long time.
Maybe we have also become frustrated with our sometimes "slow progress" and we feel like we have nothing to show for our hard work. The project is at a standstill and we want to throw in the towel and quit.

Does this sound familiar to anyone?

I know that I have felt like this many times. But I also know that quitting is never going to be an option for me. I have had to regroup several times. Try some new strategies and ways of going about what I am doing.
But never quitting. Never losing sight of my ultimate vision.

Here are a couple of tips for you if you feel like your life and your project is at standstill right now.
How do we stay motivated when we just want to give up and quit the whole project.

Don´t lose sight of the big picture. Why did you start it in the first place? What is all about?
Stop focusing on the daily grind and put your focus back on why you want to do this......the reason you started it. Keep your goal in sight. Always write it down so that you can look at every time you feel unmotivated and want to quit.

Ask for help from a mentor or a coach. Someone that has been down the path that you are trying to walk. They can tell you about the pitfalls....what to look out for and how they stayed motivated on their journey toward their own goal. How they got through the uninspired days....because we all have those days.
We must always prepare for those day. They will always come.

Get inspired by reading some books. Or listen to webinars, seminars.
Attend a live seminar. It´s a great way to get your inspiration back. But if you can´t do that...
there are plenty of great videos on YouTube.

Learn to relax. Maybe start a new hobby.
I always spend time out in nature with my two dogs. It is always a great way to relax and to recharge my batteries. Learning something new can always be exciting. Take up painting, or join a choir, learn a new language or maybe some Salsa lessons to get your mind of the project for a while.

Volunteer is a great way to get your focus off yourself. Helping someone else is a great way to relax and it makes us realize how fortunate most of us are.

Surround yourself with positive and like-minded people.
They can help lift you up.

Face Your Fear Today!

"You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience
in which you really stop and look fear in the face.
You must do the thing which you think you cannot do."
                                                    - Eleanor Roosevelt

Do you know what the #1 fear is?
According to most studies it is the fear of public speaking.

The #2 fear is death.
So I guess the ultimate fear would be doing the eulogy at a funeral.

So is public speaking actually about the fear of speaking?
Most of us talk to friends, family-members and co-workers all day long.
We can talk to our trusted friend and tell them anything and everything.

So why do we feel such fear when we have to speak to five or more strangers?
The fear is about being judged. Either for what we say, how we say it or how we look.
We doubt ourselves, out ability and we are scared of the response from people.

A lot of problems could be solves by believing in ourselves and care less about what people think about us.

Look at the most successful people....they have put themselves out there and they have endured criticism. Some more that others.

You can not follow your dream and put yourself out there and not expect to get criticized.

Isn´t it about time you start to believe in yourself and less in what other people think.

That´s why you need to enter a space each and every day where fear and doubt can´t touch you.

How do you do that?

Simply by taking action.

Do something that scares you. Do the things that you are fearful of.

Don´t wait. You will never get over your fear by not facing your fears or by waiting for the right moment. It will never happen.

You must take action.

Do it today.

Deal with your fear and after you have faced your fear you will discover that it wasn´t that scary after all.

You can do it!!!

I believe in YOU!
