Love Heals

                                                             "Love cures people,
both the ones who give it
and the ones that receive it."
                                                               - Karl Menninger

It is true that love heals. What do you think?

Unconditional love is the most powerful stimulant of the immune system. The truth is: love heals.
Miracles happen to exceptional patients every day - patients who have the courage to love, those who have the courage to work with their doctor's to participate in and influence their own recovery.

I read an amazing book about a month ago...…
Love, Medicine & Miracles, written by Bernie S. Siegel, M.D.
Lessons learned about self-healing from a surgeon's experience with exceptional patients.

Bernie S. Siegel is also the author of another wonderful book.....Peace, Love and Healing. I read that book a couple of years ago, it too was a fantastic book.

Taking care of unfinished business may someday come to be recognized as the most effective pain reliever and preparation for surgery.

To live is to suffer: to survive is to find meaning in the suffering.

We will never meet anything we can't handle.

A frightened person is really saying, "Love me." But we tend to reject that person and get angry. Then he or she gets more frightened and often hoards anger until it hardens into resentment or hate.
To hate is easy, but it is healthier to love. When you are feeling afraid, if you ask someone for a hug, for some love, the fear will quiet down.

When we choose to love, healing energy is released in our bodies.

Get people to love themselves and listen to their bodies.

Good nutrition is an essential part of any treatment program.

Time after time, research has shown that people who give vent to their negative emotions survive adversity better than those who are emotionally constricted.

There are no incurable diseases, only incurable people.

The healing is better in our conscious minds, but we must look for healing in the dark unconscious.

The body responds to the mind's messages, whether conscious or unconscious.

The mind and the body are not separate units, but one integrated system. How we act and what we think, eat, and feel are all related to health.

and the remedy for all pain."
