Is there someone in your life that you need to forgive?
FORGIVENESS
Isn´t something we do for others.
We do it so we can get well and move on
Do you believe that holding a grudge somehow continues to hold the wrongdoer accountable?
Did you know that as long as you hold a grudge, hurt or a disappointment, you are actually continuing to suffer the negative emotion of it. Also you continue to keep yourself connected to the very person that you are trying to let go of.
Do you know what happens physically to you when you continue to think about an event or a person that you can´t let go of?
Does it make you angry?
Does your blood pressure get elevated?
Did you realize that some people will actually suffer back pain and tension in their neck and shoulders because they are not being able to let go or forgive.
How about gastric distress or headaches?
All of this because they continue to hold on to a grudge or resentment.
The person that you are angry with have most likely moved on with their life and they might not even be aware of that you are still hanging on to a grudge or resentment.
So isn´t it about time that you move on with yours?
Remember......you are probably the ONLY one suffering from not forgiving. You are the only one dragging around this burden with you.....everywhere you go.
After a while this burden gets very heavy to drag around with you.
Isn´t it about time that you give your body a break?
Forgive everyone and everything as soon as possible....INCLUDING YOURSELF.
TIP!
Instead of rehashing the event....ask yourself
What have I learned from this event or this person?
What do I need to pay closer attention to in the future?
How have I grown?
How have I changed?
People who genuinely forgive tend to be healthier and happier.
