Would you like to be a little more productive?
If you answered YES to this question..... I have a few great and practical tips that will get you moving toward your goals and squeeze the most out of your day.
Before leaving your office at the end of the day, make a list of the six most important things or projects you have to do the following day and number them in the order of their importance.
Scratch off each item after you finish it. Then go to the next item on your list. If something doesn't get done, put it on the following day's list
To avoid Procrastination.... always put the most difficult task on the top of the list so that you make sure that you tackle the most difficult item first and get it out of the way.
If you don't you might be running around doing hundred unimportant things to avoid the most difficult task and it may drain your energy and you won't even know it.
I always feel much better and more energized as I get the most difficult task out of the way.
Also I feel that my day is off to a good start and I am getting momentum for the rest of the day.
Why is it so important to write these things down the night before.
First.. you don't have to waste a lot of time in the morning, running around trying to figure out "what to do". You will start the day READY TO GO.
Second...your subconscious will also be working on those six projects while you are sleeping. And maybe when you wake up your subconscious mind have come up with some ideas and solutions to your tasks and projects.
Effective, productive people discipline themselves to start on the most important task that is before them. As a result, they accomplish vastly more than the average person and are much happier as a result. Maybe this should be your way of working as well.
There is nothing that will shape you destiny more than your habits. Because we are the sum of the choices that we will make in our lives. Those Choices are greatly influenced by our habits.....good or bad.
Now...before you go to bed tonight, figure out what you need to do tomorrow. Write your list of the six most important things you need to accomplish tomorrow.
